How to Reset Firestick TV Using Remote
You can easily reset all the settings from the firestick’s remote. Follow the steps below:
- Switch on your TV
- Switch on your firestick using remote
- Now, go to the “Settings” section of the firestick TV as shown below
- Click on the “Settings“
- A list of options will be shown on your screen
- Navigate and go to “My Fire TV”
- Select “MY FIRE TV” using the navigation buttons of the remote
- Now a new window opens as shown below
- From here you can choose to either restart your TV or reset the settings
- Whatever you want to do out of both options, select and proceed forward
- If you click on “Reset to Factory Settings” then another window pops up like shown below
- Click on reset

Remote Buttons to Reset Your Amazon Firestick TV
You can reset your setting of Firestick through the remote buttons.
Due to a jammed device or black screen, the Settings screen is often not available. In such situations, resetting it to factory settings can be done using the remote of your Firestick.
NOTE: For this method, the remote must be paired to your Fire TV Stick. If you are using a new remote, restart Fire TV Stick by holding the home button for at least 20 seconds and pairing the remote.

Amazon has Fire TV apps that allow you to monitor the functionality of the Fire TV Stick on your TV, on both Android and iOS devices.
Everything you need to do is download the app to your Android or iPhone, and connect to the same Fire TV Stick Wi-Fi network and it will appear in the background. Click. Click. A four-digit code appears on the television screen. Enter that into the app, then use the app to monitor the navigation of the Stick. Then go to Settings > System > Restore to Reset Factory as you did in the first process.
